Best Places To Go Camping in Costa Brava

From campsites where you can hear the sounds of the ocean to luxury bungalows with a pool just out your door, Costa Brava has plenty of options for camping. In this post, I’ll cover all of the best places to stay and what to expect from them.

Best Beachside Camping in Costa Brava

Staying at a beachside campground is the perfect way to enjoy Costa Brava’s nature and beaches just steps from your home base. Here are the best beachside campgrounds in Costa Brava.

1. Camping Las Dunas Costa Brava

If you’re hoping to get as close to the beach as possible, then Camping Las Dunas is for you. The pitches and bungalows are only separated from the sea by a row of dunes, and beyond that is the Mediterranean. It’s also nearby L’Escala, one of my favorite towns.

With just a quick walk to the beach, you’ll be standing on Sant Pere Pescador, which is perfect for water sports like kitesurfing. The water is also really shallow, so it’s nice for families.

Speaking of families, Las Dunas also has other activities for kids like their playgrounds, waterpark complete with five waterslides, and a mini golf course.

All of the pitches at Las Dunas are fit for tents, caravans, or motorhomes. So no matter what you’re camping in, there’s a pitch for you. They also all have electricity and some have water and drainage hook-ups.

If tent camping in Costa Brava isn’t your style, Las Dunas also has a variety of bungalows that overlook the sea!
