I’ve been to over 35 countries and my husband, Anmol has been to over 60. We both had corporate careers in New York but we have been so enriched by travel that we started Mountains and Mahals as a way to spread the richness of travel.

We met at a wedding in Bangalore that I tagged along to with a friend because it gave me an excuse to travel to India. He lived in Singapore and I lived in New York City. 6 years later, that mutual friend married us in Slovenia! India is now my second home and we want to simplify logistical hassles Westerners face when traveling to India!

We’ve both made personal journeys of self discovery through travel, from small towns in the US (Grayslake, IL) and India (Shillong, Meghalaya) to the umpteen cultures we’ve been fortunate to open our minds to. The experiences in the destinations above are our way to hopefully enable that for others.
